Golden Knights Football Programs
The Golden Knights Youth Athletics program offers multiple levels of football designed to introduce young athletes to the game, build confidence, and develop strong fundamentals.
Our football program is structured to provide age-appropriate instruction, safe competition, and a strong team culture that prepares athletes for future middle school and high school athletics.
The Golden Knights organization now supports two core youth football programs:

Tackle Football (8U, 10U, 12U, and spring 14U)

Each level of play is designed to match the athlete’s age, experience level, and physical development.

Flag Football (6U Development Program)
The Golden Knights Flag Football program introduces young athletes to the fundamentals of football in a safe, fast-paced, and non-contact environment. This program focuses on: • Basic football rules and concepts • Passing and receiving fundamentals • Route running and defensive positioning • Teamwork and sportsmanship Flag football is designed to help young players build confidence and develop a love for the game before transitioning into tackle football.

Each registered flag athlete receives:

One Team Backpack Black or Gray (Duffle bag can be purchased for an additional $50)


Tackle Football (8U, 10U, 12U, and spring 14U)
Our tackle football program provides athletes with the opportunity to learn and compete in a structured football environment while emphasizing proper technique and player safety. Athletes will be coached on: • Proper tackling fundamentals • Offensive and defensive football systems • Conditioning and athletic development • Team discipline and leadership The program prepares athletes for competitive youth football leagues and future school programs.

Each registered flag athlete receives:

One Team Duffle bag Black or Gray (backpack can be purchased for an additional $35)


Athletes must also have approved football equipment including:

Shoulder pads

Mouthpiece

Cleats
Families may bring approved equipment, use loaned equipment or purchase equipment through the Golden Knights Pro Shop.
Volunteers Wanted – Coaches
The Golden Knights Youth Athletics program is built on the dedication of community volunteers who are passionate about developing young athletes.
As we launch our inaugural season, we are actively seeking coaching volunteers to help lead our Flag Football and Tackle Football teams.
You do not need prior coaching experience—only a commitment to mentoring youth athletes and helping create a positive team environment.

What Volunteer Coaches Do Golden Knights coaches play a vital role in helping our athletes grow both on and off the field. Responsibilities include: • Leading weekly practices • Teaching football fundamentals and teamwork • Supporting game-day organization • Promoting sportsmanship and player safety • Creating a positive and encouraging environment for athletes
Coach Support & Training All volunteer coaches will receive: • Program guidance and coaching resources • Practice structure and playbook support • Player safety and youth development guidelines • Organizational support from Golden Knights leadership
Volunteer Requirements To ensure a safe and structured program, all coaches must: • Complete a volunteer application • Pass a background check • Follow Golden Knights youth safety policies • Commit to the program schedule during the season
