Golden Knights Youth Athletics Announces CFPO League Affiliation for Fall 2026 Season

Golden Knights Youth Athletics is proud to announce that we will officially participate with CFPO Youth Sports for the Fall 2026 season, marking an exciting next step for our football and cheer programs.

CFPO Youth Sports has a long-standing tradition in Central and South Texas youth athletics. Founded more than 40 years ago by three police officers with just four teams, CFPO has grown into a respected youth sports league serving communities across the region. Today, the league includes football and cheer programs across multiple age divisions, including Mighty Might 6U, PeeWee 8U, Junior 10U, and Senior 12U.

For Golden Knights Youth Athletics, joining CFPO represents more than league placement. It gives our athletes, cheerleaders, coaches, and families the opportunity to participate in an established organization built on tradition, structure, competition, and community pride.

One of the key benefits of joining CFPO is the league’s competitive football structure. CFPO offers a full postseason format, including multiple weeks of playoffs, Saturday Bowl Games, and a CFPO Super Bowl Sunday to close out the fall football season.

A major part of CFPO’s tradition is also its commitment to cheer. CFPO has built a strong cheerleading presence across the league, giving young athletes the opportunity to support their teams throughout the season while also developing confidence, teamwork, discipline, performance skills, and game day leadership.

At the end of the season, CFPO cheer programs participate in a league-wide cheer competition, giving cheerleaders the opportunity to showcase the routines, skills, and spirit they have developed throughout the year. This creates an exciting platform for athletes to compete, represent their organization, and be recognized as an important part of the overall game day and league experience.

CFPO also provides high-quality cheer uniforms through Cheerleading.com, helping ensure cheer athletes have a professional, consistent, and polished look throughout the season. For Golden Knights families, this adds another level of value and structure to the cheer experience while aligning with the standard we want to provide across all of our programs.

With league selections now finalized, Golden Knights Youth Athletics will finalize and publish Fall 2026 registration pricing. Registration is expected to open within the next couple of days, and updated pricing will be reflected on our website and registration platform once registration officially launches.

Golden Knights Youth Athletics is also pleased to share that Fall 2026 registration pricing will be all-inclusive. At this time, there are no planned fundraisers for parents or athletes for the Fall 2026 season. Our goal is to provide families with clear, upfront pricing and reduce additional obligations throughout the season.
