Slalom Consulting’s TOLA REACH Community Expands Sponsorship Access for Golden Knights Football and Cheer Families

Golden Knights Youth Athletics is proud to recognize and extend our heartfelt gratitude to Slalom Consulting, specifically the TOLA REACH community, for their generous contribution in support of our athlete sponsorship program.

TOLA, representing Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas, and REACH stepped forward in a meaningful way to support families currently on our sponsorship waitlist. Through their donation, all football and cheer athletes on our current sponsorship list received partial sponsorship support, reducing registration costs for sponsored families to just $75.

This gift has made an immediate and meaningful impact across our organization. It has helped provide access for both football and cheer families, while allowing Golden Knights Youth Athletics to continue building a program rooted in opportunity, accountability, mentorship, and community.

Golden Knights Youth Athletics was founded on the belief that youth sports should be a place where young athletes learn discipline, commitment, teamwork, gratitude, and personal responsibility. For many families, financial barriers can make that opportunity difficult to reach. Thanks to Slalom’s support, more children now have the chance to become Golden Knights and experience the growth that comes through structured sports, positive coaching, and community investment.

Coach Jericho Harris, President of Golden Knights Youth Athletics, shared the following:

“Slalom’s support, specifically through the TOLA REACH community, has been incredibly impactful for our families and our organization. Slalom embodies being fiercely human and outcome-driven, and this donation is a true reflection of those values in action. Their generosity shows that their commitment to outcomes does not stop with the clients they serve or the business challenges they help solve. It extends into the community, into families, and into the lives of children who simply need an opportunity. For our athletes, this gift represents access, encouragement, and belief. It tells a child that there are people and organizations willing to invest in their future before they ever step onto the field, the sideline, or the mat. Through this donation, Slalom and the TOLA REACH community have helped create better outcomes for young people through sports, mentorship, and youth programming. That is the kind of impact that can stay with a family, a team, and a community.”

As part of our sponsorship process, Golden Knights Youth Athletics is also asking each sponsored family to approach this opportunity with intention. Families receiving sponsorship support will complete a sponsor agreement that outlines the expectations of participation, commitment, academic responsibility, and gratitude.

Coach Harris also shared why that process matters:

“When I reached out to our sponsored families, I asked parents to sit down with their children and help them understand what this opportunity represents. This is not just an agreement between the parent and our organization. It is also a commitment between the athlete, the sponsor who helped create the opportunity, their family, and themselves. Each sponsored athlete will also write a handwritten letter to the donor. We want that letter to be thoughtful, personal, and informed, which means learning who the donor is, understanding the work they do, and recognizing that someone chose to invest in their opportunity. That process matters. It teaches our young men and young women that gratitude should be intentional, and that when someone invests in you, you honor that investment through effort, attitude, accountability, and appreciation. That is what youth sports is truly about.”

Because of this gracious gift, along with the continued support of other sponsors and donors who have joined our cause, Golden Knights Youth Athletics has been able to expand the number of sponsorship opportunities available to families in need.

As we continue preparing for our inaugural season, our goal is to distribute sponsorships with fairness and balance across both football and cheer, as well as across the different age groups within our program. At this time, we are working to reserve remaining open sponsorship opportunities for athletes in the 8U and 10U football divisions, helping us maintain parity across the children and families receiving support.

If your child is interested in becoming a Golden Knight, is in the 8U or 10U football age

, and sponsorship assistance would help make participation possible, we

encourage you to reach out to us.

Please contact us at info@goldenknightsathletics.org for more information about remaining sponsorship opportunities.

Slalom Consulting’s TOLA REACH community has not only impacted the football and cheer athletes currently on our sponsorship list, but also future Golden Knights who will now have a greater opportunity to join our program. This gift is a powerful example of corporate citizenship, community care, and outcome-driven impact, and we are deeply grateful for Slalom’s belief in our mission, our families, and our athletes.
