Week 2 Recap: Golden Knights 6U Lights Up the Scoreboard On Flag Opening Week

Week 2 brought another full Saturday of Golden Knights football, highlighted by two victories and continued growth throughout the organization.

The 12U Golden Knights delivered a dominant performance against the Stockdale Brahmas, controlling the game from beginning to end and earning a 30–0 shutout victory. The win moved 12U to 2–0 on the season.

Our 10U team battled the Hay County Outlaws in another hard-fought defensive game. After falling just short in a 2–0 contest during opening weekend, the Knights again kept their opponent within one score before dropping an 8–0 decision.

The 8U Golden Knights faced a strong New Braunfels Toros team and suffered their first loss of the season, 22–0. The team will return to practice ready

to learn from the experience and prepare for its next opportunity.

The 6U Flag Golden Knights put on an offensive show against the Luling Eagles. Despite being without their starting quarterback due to illness, the young Knights lit up the scoreboard with 42 points and earned an exciting 42–33 victory.
